This number came up from hiya as Samsung Electrical. When I answered it disconnected. It's now on my long list of spam calls & report each one.

These guys call midday late pm and in the evening, just about every day, when I pick up there's a silence and no answer at all, so I hang up. Not sure what this is all about but I won't be answering anymore as we googled the number and many complained....
There are just too many of these spam/marketing etc. calls about these days, just don't answer if they really want you they'll leave an explaining msg.

Claim to be from a wine distribution centre trying to flog wine.. An online delivery with jimmy brings was processing when I got this call about wine . Are they sharing our data ???? Very weird ..

Caller: (02) 9119 2586 came up on my phone as "Samsung Electronics Australia"

I didn't answer it, but when I call back from the office it's always engaged.

The caller identifies said that it was from Samsung Electronics Australia but after reading the comments I don't think so

“Hi it’s James from the wine group” voicemail message

When this number called me today it came up on my screen as Samsung Electronics Australia. It rang once and then they hung up, didn't get the chance to answer

Tried calling back it did nothing so I have blocked the number. It came up on my phone as SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS

Rings every day. Always just hangs up. Now blocked.

I labelled this number as SCAM in my phone and blocked the number. The app that blocks records the calls/messages it's blocked, and the history for this number indicates they've called me 14 times since the 10/09 to 28/09.

I received 2calls per day for the last 10 working days, on my work number. I am a switchboard operator for a drug & alcohol service. This caller hangs up each time i say the name of my service.

This number came up as a "smart number", supposed to be Samsung Electronics Australia. I very much doubt it. I'll now block it

I got a call from this number but its strange, normally a number with who it is, would be something I added to my call list & I didn't!!! & they didn't leave a message either, I'm sure if it was Samsung they would have left a msg!!! that's how I know its a scam!

Received a call from this number asking for a person (the name I use on Facebook, which is not my real name). I asked who I was speaking to& she muttered an indistinguishable name. She repeated again, asking to speak to *person*. I repeated my question of where are you calling from - again the response of 'are you this person, can I speak to him' (I'm female). Clearly a scammer...

I couldnt catch the name of the company, they were saying SMS and then something else. Something to do with Self Management Superfunds. They asked if I had a connection to Au super. I didnt answer her question. She kept repeating that they werent trying to sell me anything to do with super but improving my super set up. I hung up at this point. It was also a very bad line so clearly not an AU number.

Asian lady asking for my name, then saying she’s from Singapore. Hung up and blocked. Call many times over many days

Caller: "International Media Group" (02) 9119 2586

- This number ((02) 9119 2586) rang me at around midday on 22 June 2021.
- They said they were "International Media Group" and that were notionally doing a "survey" about how COVID ahs impacted their partners' readers.
- They said they'd got my details (including my full name!) from their business partners such as Forbes Magazine, which I do not read and have not given my details to.
- It registered as a spam number on my phone, and all these comments are confirming that this may be a longheld spam number that has used a variety of different scams to get info from people.
