I got a call from this number some time ago, offering solar panels. As I do with all telemarketers, I saved the number as 'telemarketer' along with the product or service. It was only a matter of time before they called again, so I answered my phone as "Green Care Solar Panels, how can I help you?". She started her spiel, and I said "Yes, I can help you with solar power, what do you need?". It went on for some time, but she was eventually convinced that she had called another solar power company.
I had so much fun with it, that instead of ignoring the repeat calls, I'm going to play them at their own game!

(02) 9119 2586 rang, I answered to an undistinguishable accent - hung up, then called the number back. Received an automated response, "you have rung back to either receive more information, or, to be removed from our contact list - please press 1 for more info. or press 2 to be removed" - Yes, I immediately pressed 2 !

I told them I like sex and asked if they wanted to hook up. So rude when they hang up on you like that when you have showed them the courtesy of ringing them back.

One strategy to deal with these dodgy spammers is to save their number on your contacts as "Spam - don't pick up!". They'll get you the first time, but after that they're stuffed. :-)

Caller: (02) 9119 2586 Number came up as Samsung Electronics Australia. I didn't answer and checked here and seeing so many comments about this coming from different companies I am wondering how they managed to use Samsung Electronics as their caller ID...these scammers are getting trickier every day!

Mid morning a call from (02) 9119 2586 with a female voice said she was calling on behalf of a training organisation I had contacted. She wanted to know if I wanted to en-role. I've had dealings with a couple of organisations who want the money part but not willing to offer a service. Seems this number is a standard link for such organisations making it hard to trace it's location.

I have been getting calls from this number for a couple of days. I haven't answered, as I don't answer numbers I don't know and they haven't left a message so I haven't rang back. Now I know it's just a dodgy company, I definitely won't be bothering.

Caller: James from The Wine Group Second time this clown has called me, despite being asked the first time to be removed from the call list -- he replies with "I understand you don't want to be contacted, but I didn't want you to miss out on this deal.". Both times he said the same thing. I asked him if he heard me say that I want to be taken off the call list and he said "Yes, but I'm just trying to make sure you don't miss out on this deal.", so I blew a whistle into the phone and asked him if he heard that. Kept blowing the whistle until he hung up.

Now they say they are "Australian Receivables' Nasty piece of sh*t answers if you call back. Obvious half wits with too much time on their hands. Scum.

Just had a call on my mobile from (02) 9119 2586 asking for my husband. I asked who was speaking and she said her name was 'Angel'. I then asked where she was calling from, but she wouldn't respond. She just said she wanted to speak to my husband. I eventually said he wasn't here at the moment, she said she would call him later, and hung up! Very sus!!!!

Caller: (02) 9119 2586 I had 3 missed calls from this number over the last few days because it would only ring twice before ending. Today I answered to hear an indian male say he was Alex Green from the National Diabilities Insurance Scheme (NDIS). He said he was only taking peoples details down on a register to sign them up for eligilble benefits. He asked if anyone in the household had a disability, I said no. Then he asked if I had a disability, i said no again. He said thank you and hung up. In going through other comments for this number, it seems the owner likes to use the alias of 'green' in relation to something. It makes me angry to think that they are now targeting people with disabilities!
