I also spoke with ANZ regarding a simple matter, now I get at least ten calls a week from this number. Really sh*ts me up the wall, they want to speak with me so badly that I'm expecting them to pop the question any day now.

ANZ number, I recently opened an account with them and they offered to give me a call back about some income protection insurance - this is the genuine number they use for telemarketing.

I logged into my account via the internet banking site and it must have flagged them because they have rung a number of times since. No message left and I don't answer calls I don't recognise the number of or those I'm not expecting.

I called ANZ about my mortgage, he asked if they could call me back to talk about Superannuation, I said yes. I keep receiving calls from this number when I can't answer. It fits in that they are calling, but it's just a nuisance now. It's more than 5 times per day. It sounds like ANZ however they are just being silly with their outbound policies when calling an unlimited amount of times. Just block the number in your handset and contact the bank when you can to check up.

Just called them back at night. It is anz bank I think. It's a voice over because the bank is close

Claimed to be calling from the ANZ wealth creation unit told her the ANZ only email me so her phone call must be a scam got rid of her. The itune scam also appears to be operation

This is bullsh*t. If it is from the ANZ the government needs to police its "Do not call register. Ring up all the time then hang up when you answer. Gave the ANZ a mouthful so will wait and see what happens.

ANZ called me because it I clicked on Super when I did internet banking

Called me today and he claimed it was the ANZ Bank about superannuation, and he added it was in response to my filling in an online form about super. I told him it was not possible because we have own private superannuation fund and have it for about 15 years. He said he would take my name and number off their data base. Very odd.

Yes it is ANZ and its about insurance or superannuation; ) ;) nuisance yes. Convenient sometimes ;).

I received unknown text message after call from this certain number.
And call every day since after picked one call from this number.
No talk and no respond, also rang off after 2 to 3 second later.

I Have also been receiving calls from (02) 9112 5731 that hang out on me. They commenced with a call from someone who claimed they were from ANZ trying to sell me life or income insurance. I just called ANZ and they said there are no records that anyone has contacted me about insurance products and that it sounds like a phishing operation. Any suggestions on how to get that number to stop calling would be great.

I have received 'missed calls' from this number a few times, even twice a day. This started after an ANZ personnel spoke to me about insurance and had sought my permission to be approached. I have since then revoked that permission, but the calls keep coming, and exactly like the others, disconnects after I answer. I believe their call centre/agent are trying to increase the number of phone calls made. Unethical behaviour.
