i just got a missed call from this number today.  my curiousity led me to google it up as i don't usually call back missed calls unless they left me voice mail asking for it.  thanks for this website, now i know it's a scam.

They get your number from all types of sources.  Local Council's are the worst offenders for selling information to other companies.  So called "competition lines" are another source that they use.  You really  need to read the fine print in adverts to see where your information is going to be used.

Get yourself onto the Government's Do Not Call Register.  Registration only lasts a couple of years though.

OK - I have had a dozen calls from this number. I am getting really sick of it. They should be required to identify themselves. Who do we complain to?

I have just called the Commonwealth Bank 132221 and have asked to have my name removed from telemarketing. I did explain to a supervisor what has happened and she told me to have my name removed from telemarketing. So lets hope it works and I don't get anymore calls.

I have been receiving calls from 9291125723.  I pay for a private number. One call on Friday 16 July 2010 and 19 July 2010. I won't pick up. I was getting an automated call from (02) 8094 5820 , This number had a list of press button options.. eg press 1 if you are renting ,press 2 if you have mortgage ect. I hung up.This is very worrying to me.

I am getting these calls again from Sydney. Luckly I didn't answer this time. Some loser must have nothing better to do.
