i got missed call from this number from last 2 days
annoying.........

It's CommBank advertising their new insurance stuff. They should have already sent you the brochures and application forms in the mail about it.

Like many telemarketers they are using an automated system to phone everyone up and detect if there is actually a human answering. Since this system is not without issues if you answer without saying anything or talk to much the AI will think you are an answering machine, hang up and put your number on the redial list.

If you have NetBank you might be able to opt out somewhere by changing your "preferred contact" details. I haven't bothered checking though as I told them to not ring back during the call from this number.

I received several missed calls over the last two weeks from this number. When they finally got on the phone, it turned out they were from St Geroge Bank Insurance, and were looking for someone who wasn't me.

Just started recieving calls (two so far). I asked a friend who works at commbank and this does not seem legit. Do not provide sensitive personal details out if they ask, just to be safe.
