I receive regular calls from this mob, my Fritz!Box is now set to automatically answer calls from them with a stern recorded voice announcement demanding they take me off their database and threatening to report them to ACMA.

What is the point of the "Do Not Call Register if they keep harassing ? My number is private and not listed and yet I get calls from this mob constantly.

This number rings twice a day, if I answer, line is silent. I recommend caller ID, saves answering these nuisance numbers.

This is the Red Cross! I have requested them to take me off their register which they have ignored. They still call and when I answer there was no response. Each time they call the caller ID said "overseas", I now have this # in my phone as "overseas" and the call gets ignored. The call goes to the answering machine whereby these morons hang up without leaving a message. This must cost the Red Cross money! Really ,it is money that good people donate, needless to say, I do not donate anymore.

So glad I pay to have caller ID, I do not answer the number if I don't know it, if it is a call I should of taken I figure they will leave a message. I have even added them in my contacts as 'Don't answer' so when I see this I just let it ring.

Same thing happens, pick up - no answer. Partner thinks it is my boyfriend calling.....

It is the red cross, i added them as a contact in my phone so now when the phone rings i see red cross and ignore.

I have a private number and I'm registered on the "Do not call, Do not mail Website".
These parasites still call ... NOT HAPPY.

Write to the Red Cross Board, and demand they put an end to this. The company they are using calls private numbers, harasses people with a robot program to find out when they are home, and is a great disruption to many people. Red across has a responsibility to ensure marketers are not acting in such a way.

I used to donate a lot. It resulted in my landline being called night and day by everyone I ever donated to.Even when I ask them to take me off their list I still get pestered.Now I donate anon

They Claimed they were from Australian Red Cross. They tried to sale me entries to a competition to win some prize.

The words I would like to use to describe these ****** are not very nice and I will not use them here. Lobby your local MP to have ALL charities banned from the "do not call" exemption. Regardless of who they are they are disturbing your piece and your right to go about your own business without being pestered

Just started getting calls from this number at 20min intervals

We get the same in Perth, frequent calls that disconnect when we answer. However, no indication it's the Red Cross.

These guys ring every night: its an abuse of the exemption of charities from the "Do not call" register - an exemption which the Red Cross demonstrates that they should not be entitled to!
