Sounds like a recorded message, with a foreign accent - supposedly ATO proceeding with Legal Action for Tax Evasion & Fraud, saying to urgently call this number (02) 9098 4725. The ATO does not divulge any information unless they know you are the correct person, so they will always ask by name & they will quote a reference number. DO NOT CALL!

A Jason O'Connor left a messageYesterday on2/11/15 saying that he was from The ATO and there was case against me for tax fraud. I rang back and gave my name to a Jennifer Smith who sounded Indian but answered the phone "ATO". I gave her may name.I'm glad I didn't give any more information.

Immigration scam - claim they are from Immigration. Surprisingly they know all my family member names n told me to complete the some 1024 form else we will be in big trouble.. I got it that it is a Scam call when they reputedly keep asking me about my mobile number..

Immigration scam - claim they are from Immigration & Border Security. Asking for form 1147 needs to be filled and $975.00 to be paid via Western Union
