Optus calling about business mobile phones.

Scammer pretending to be Optus. Alexis was her name (allegedly)

Offering me 6 months free subscription to my mobile phone. Wanted to come to my off the next day to discuss. Asked if I paid for any other mobiles in my house and how much I spent per month and I responded saying "If you are really from Optus you should know how much I spend each month"

She hung up

Had a recorded message referring to the hash button as ‘pound’ which is an American term so seems dodgy.

Called asking for business owners name & mobile - if they don't know the business owners name GOODBYE

Caller: Some Indian Woman

Claiming to be from Optus - wanted the IT Manager - what a scam - hang up on these calls immediately. Dead give away when there is a delay in the call - foreign voice, asking how you are Ma' am, and then wanting the IT Manager.

Caller: 'Energy Savings'

This number has called me many times previously and has always been someone from the Optus Business Centre at Homebush. Todays call was from 'Energy Savings' wanting to set up a meeting to help up save on our electricity bills.

Said they were Optus trying to sell me additional numbers. I'm an Optus customer so I asked whether this was to do with my account. She didn't seem to know if I was an it's customer or not. Contacted Optus and the number is not theirs. Likely scam

Annoying call centre, scammers be ware of these scumbags

Caller: Fake optus

Indian woman named Mansie (I think). Trying to sell promotional offers from Optus. She said could you come in tomorrow so when I asked which store it was like she knew she f***ed up the scam script and couldn’t tell me a store to go to and fumbled her words while not answering the question. Kind of entertaining actually.

Definitely a scam from this number pretending to be from optus.

wouldnt tell me what it was about other than he wanted to talk to the business owner regarding our printer. I advised him we already have contracts in place - and if he wanted to he cold email but we were not taking calls -

Optus Business. Dont waste your time. Block the number or they will just keep harrassing you to meet call quotas

If you have a cordless phone, you can set it to block the number if you believe it's a scam number.

This person keep ringing saying from UG partners about telecommunication. Extremely passive aggressive Indian man. Keeps calling. His number has been recorded so he has been blacklisted. disgraceful.

This is ridiculous now. I am hounded by Optus and it doesnt matter how many times I say NOT INTERESTED they keep calling and in some cases blatantly lie to my staff. Obviously this has all been outsourced to an international call centre. Out of principle, I will never use Optus.

Enough already! I get at least 5-6 calls a month from various Optus stores and no matter how many times I say I am not interested, they keep calling.
I will NEVER use Optus. NO amount of free anything will change my mind. I am not interested, I do not want a free phone. GO AWAY.
