Claimed to be from Telstra and that my IP address had been changed from private to public a few days ago. Told me they should show me by going online. I queried who changed it a few days ago given I didn't and he was unable to answer. He also said the changed happened because I have other 'internet issues'. I asked what those issues were? When he was unable to answer I asked for him to provide evidence he was from Telstra. He then hung up.

Told me that my credit card was being used in America and elsewhere! Said he was from some kind of fraud and securities place!

Heavily accented guy claiming to be both an ISP and the NBN, calling about my internet speeds. Come on matey, you can't be both.

Claimed to be Westpac security and someone in US is trying to use my Mastercard to make a 2400 purchase. And I said are you sure you're calling from Westpac, I don't even have a mastercard with westpac and he hung up.

Caller claimed to be from TELSTRA about NBN. Went with it, asked them to update my address / phone number by providing them with the Australian Federal Police Perth Office details. hahahahaha

left a voice message claiming to be from Amazon about a payment of $399.00 on my account. Request I called back to talk to their "executive" to remove the amount from my account.

Appears to be a scam call - automated voice saying my card was about to debited $299 for some service. Didn't hear the rest as I hung up.

A foreign sounding man rang and said he had identified that my broadband was running slowly.he asked me what colour the light on the router was. i said green. he then asked how many devices i had connected. if i had a laptop open. Could i open the Run Execute window and type in EV....something..i hung up at this point because he could not verify who i was or give me any identifying details. my phone then rang again, different number, twice, both times showing as Suspected Spam

It came up on my phone as potential fraud. I just let it ring out. If it is someone I need to talk to or know they will leave a message. No message.

Claimed to be Amazon wanting to me authorise a payment for an iPhone - I just hung up. So glad this sites exists so I can check other complaints. many thanks!!

Stupid cow phishing for NBN scam

girl claimed to be from Amazon, I said I dont have account, she replied one was opened yesterday, my reply was as you may guess

Said they were from the bank regarding a transaction trying to be processed to someone in the USA from my account.

Amazon Prime spam call

Said they were Amazon prime and were deducting $99.97 from my account and if i disagreed press 1, Scam hang up and blocked

Caller: Claiming to be from Vodafone

The caller with an accent (possibly Indian, Pakistani, Sri Lankan?) claimed to be from Vodafone and was offering a 30% discount on my bill due to Covid and my good repayment history. Didn't ask any security questions, he rambled and I had to ask for clarification a number of times, tried to ram-road me into giving my access code so I hung up. Checking this site now I'm glad I did because its a SCAM!

Called saying something like did I authorise something at commonwealth visa. Beware this is a scam caller.

Automated voice message pretending to be Amazon Prime informing me that they will be debiting my account. Wild, since I don't have one.
