Said they were from Telstra and someone was hacking our account. Asked if it was a scam, he said yes and hung up hahaha

Rang to tell me my account settings for the internet had changed from private to public.
Got upset with me when I queried who had notified them about this.
I don’t use the internet at home and am certainly not with Telstra. They hung up after telling me I was very rude.
I am in customer service and I am never rude. 😂😂

Caller: "Amazon"

I let it go to message bank. Doesn't matter how many numbers I block, "Amazon" keeps calling me, advising me that my Amazon Prime Membership is expiring and I'll be charged with my account debited automatically.

Caller: Indian male scammer

My Credit Card had been misused to purchase $300 on Amazon and $700 on e-bay. When I asked the address for my c.card, he gave me address from 5-6 years ago.

US accent, claimed to be from VISA.

SCAM: calling from “Visa and Mastercard Transactions” wanting to know if I’d made international transactions at 4am. Indian accent.

Claimed to be Telstra about a changed IP address. Hung up when I asked for a number to call back so I could verify it was Telstra. Give away was heaps of background noise!

Caller: A lady with an Indian accent claiming to be calling from the Commonwealth Bank Visa Security Department.

I had a call from another number for the same thing the day before, so as soon as I told her that I had previously had a scam call from them, she immediately hung up.

It’s that “totally convincing” sped up recorded message saying they are from Amazon and your Prime account is going to be charged a zillion dollars unless you call them back and make a payment or something.

Total scamming thieves.

Automated message saying my amazon prime account had been renewed and if I wished to cancel press 1 to talk to a customer service representative.

I always check any phone numbers from unknown calls now. Almost all of them are scams. This site is very helpful, so a big thank you! You are helping Australians avoid unnecessary financial losses and other harm too.

unknown caller at 7.52pm left a heavy breathing message on my voice mail.

The person who called me said he was from the Commonwealth bank credit card security! I’m quite sure it’s a scam because the CBA would not do this.

Called saying he was from Telstra, claiming my internet was being used, wanted password, told him to send an email with the information, he hung up

Block this number! NBN spam, could hardly speak English. Tried to say that my NBN was not good. Told him it works perfect. He said it’s on their end not mine. When I questioned him what NBN company I use, he didn’t know? So I asked him how he knew I was having problems? 😂 he hung up!
