Indian woman who claimed to be from Optus giving me 50% off my mobile bill for next 6 months. Funny when I'm prepaid and with another provider.
Avoid.

Caller: They claimed to be NBN

A recorded message claiming to be from NBN saying they are cutting off my phone and Internet access. Press 1 to speak with a technician.
This number is used for many different scams judging by the comments here.
Beware scammers.

Claim to be nbn. Foreign voice said hackers had been into my internet and that they would talk me through how to stop it. Then started asking questions. I hung up at that stage.

didn't answer get these calls to often just blocked.

Unfortunately I answered a mobile number that was the Nicole NBN scam & this number called not long afterwards. Sob, on their list of genuine numbers now!

Called. Rang out to voice mail, but did not leave a message. Anyone who does not leave a message can't have any real reason for calling.

Automated message saying they were from NBN and that my NBN would be cut off in 24 hours and press "1" to get connected to a technician (which i didn't do). I just hung up. Probably scam.

Number I’d now comes up as EBay. Don’t be fooled by this scammer.

Unknown number. Called back but just a long engaged tone. Obvious scam after reading these comments and number now blocked.

Scam caller , talking about unauthorised bank transfer

Got a call that its from Telstra and my internet security has been compromised. I didn't listen any further. Definitely scam.

Bank fraud dept telling me that there were two suspicious transactions on my credit card. $300 on eBay and $1100 to Western Union and that my card had been blocked. Said that they were trying to get the money bank and not to log onto internet banking for 24 hrs. Sounded like another Indian call centre. Called back twice until I told them that I had contacted my bank.

Caller: I do not know - said they were from Commonwealth Bank Head Office

Received a call from this number. They said they were from Commonwealth Bank Head office regarding a charge of around $900 from South Africa. Knew our home address, home number and then asked for my date of birth to confirm I was the right person. When I asked for their phone number they just hung up.

Caller: No idea

I answered the call and got nothing but dead air for a few seconds. Then they disconnected the call
