Scam , called trying to tell me that they were from Amazon and that my account had been hacked and that I had to download some app

Scammer. Sounds like Indian call centre phishing scam.

Left a voicemail that was just a person giggling with call centre noise in the background. Super creepy and weird, definitely a scam

Answered, heard a male say hello with a lot of background noise - then silence. Asked who they were after & they hung up. There have been 100s of reports on another page regarding this number as a scam caller

Not answered as unknown number. Voice mail left said they were from my Visa Banking department and that a charge of $900 had been made from my paypal account for online gift card. Don't have Visa, Don't have paypal.

4 Scam calls today - this number one of them, still active since 2022?

Got 5 scam calls today, this is one of them. I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. Usually a sign it's a scam. Blocked!

Called but didn't leave a message.

Called advising they were from immigration visa department. Hung up immediately.. so over these calls 🤬

Scam, saying my Telstra internet was insecure. Don't even have internet.

Robotic voice call claiming to be Visa OR Mastercard regarding a payment. I hung up after three seconds because I don't have a credit card.

Said they were from iinet then nbn, apparently our broadband connection is slow. Started saying they are doing work in our area, gave post code which would accompany our number in the phone book. Asked about the modem, when I said all lights that should be on are on they went silent

Yet another scammer. Blocked!

Caller: Scam

Claimed they were from IINET. Said my parents (74 yr olds) had been hacked and kept pushing them to access facebook, email access asked about bitcoin/crypto involvement, phone contacts. Told them to get on the computer and share a remote access to help them. Finally asked for bank details, they were told no way the they hung up.

Had a call from these guys, sub continent, claiming they are from NBN Co and detected hackers on our internet connection and they could fix for free. When challenged they knew my first name. I let them know I could get my IT guys to investigate. they eventually hung up..

said they were from amazon so hung up

took a while to connect so obviously scam or other
