Pretending to be from Commonwealth Bank Security.........

Guy with indian accent, claimed to be calling from Commonwealth Bank Security. I asked whether he ever got fed up with lying to people? He told me I had a lovely voice but it doesn't mean I can use abusing words!! It always makes me laugh when they get angry after being caught out!

Knew my name, woman on call asking about Telstra accounts. As soon as I said I don't have any accounts I was hung up upon...

Claim to be Telstra . No way...

Rang it back after ignoring it and you get “engaged” beeping. Doesn’t even ring first.

This time claiming to be from Amazon, & that there had been a purchase of an Iphone internationally, that would not be sent to Australia.

Rang 24/8 at 4.21pm. after reading these comments now have blocked the call. Where do these numbers come from are they purchased or what do the telcos do/should to identify scammers

Yet another South Asian (Indian most likely) female, this time posing as Telstra. I told this breeding vermin I didn’t believe her. She hung up. Thanks Scott Morrison for letting too many of these desperate Dalits into Aus via visa abuse.

Latest one is Australian Cybersecurity Network telling my details have been hacked and used by someone in Mountain View California to engage in illegal activity.....if this was the case the police would of already been knocking on my door.

Caller: PayPal Fraud Dept

Received a call from this number with an automated messages stating that my PayPal account had received a payment request of $900 for gift vouchers and prompted me to press 1 if iI wanted to report as fraud or 2 to speak to someone.
I got a call from (03) 9495 4741 with the exact same thing a few hours later

Caller: Claimed to be Telsta

A man from Telstra. Have never held a Telstra account and they were using my nickname - alarm bells straight up. Hung up straight away.

Caller: Unable to Understand who it was

something to do with the commonwealth bank , i don't have an account with CBA so Goodbye whoever the hell you are and blocked

calle r said from nbn knew my name I said it was scam & he started to argue & i hung up

claimed to be from mastercard. 22/03/23 and 3/04/23. Checked with bank. Scam!
