These are spammers from Public Outreach, an organisation that ignores the Do Not Call Register.

I got a voice mail from this number but when I listened to the message it was just background noise.

Received missed call, but am on DO Not Call register, so should've received call.

I returned a call from (02) 9059 6785 and spoke with someone who mentioned the company Public Outreach

Caller: Someone who claims to be from Ronald McDonald House

Thought it was genuine as they had a lot of information about me including when I did volunteer work there. The caller was a skilled talker, very friendly. She talked a lot. As I thought this was genuine I was ready to provide a donation but through the website on my own accord. However she insisted that I provide my details and attempted to distract me from making a donation via the website. Towards the end she wanted me to provide them with my salutation, and when I questioned why she distracted me with something else and then tried to ask me for my DOB....did not feel right at all. Even though I tried to be very polite, had to hang up on them when they asked for personal details. There was a lot of background noise.

Caller: Public Outreach, possibly.

Called number back and a prerecorded message identified themselves as Public Outreach.

I rang back the number (02) 9059 6785, spoke with someone who hung up right away
