Caller: Claimed to be Starlight Foundation

Just continued to talk and talk about Starlight Foundation until I asked how my they received my number and the purpose of the call. Claimed I completed a survey and expressed interest in Starlight Foundation (not that I am aware of). Also claimed to be calling to raise support and awareness not to seek large or immediate donations. I promptly ended the call but then also received a call shortly after from (02) 8330 7223 which on this site people listed as a call from Pareto Fundraising.

I suspect my contact information has been provided/sold to a third party as I also received a call from (03) 9998 9676 (unanswered) the night before these calls.

Do not answer any of these numbers.

3rd time 3 different numbers this time told them to F-OFF how do you stop these scumbags contacting you?

Caller was from AUS MISSION, went online so I could make the donation through there but she said that it would be easier if she processed that transaction herself. Gave her my details over the phone as seemed legit. Called bank after in case there are any suspicious transactions on my account sometime in the future. Did move money out of that account into another so they could not withdraw cash greater than $20.

sounds really bad. good thing I just hung up
