call everyday because I don't pick up......

I just brought a new phone card with a new number and I'm getting calls from the losers. Makes me wonder if they actually make any money out of it or if they do it for english lessons or if they are just haters of the world.

This number also, call me last night, didn't bother pick up the call, new it was something to do with telemarketing. Tips: Anyone who called you late morning, late mid-afternoon, sometimes in the evening around 6 - 7 pm; are usually telemarketing callers. You can also tell when they ramble on & on. They will also, say that you've applied something through online, but you didn't. So next time, if you don't recognise the number don't bother pick up the phone call, just let it ring & they finally hung up. It is their time & money they are wasting, not you.

Called several times over a few days. I never answer numbers I don’t know. If it’s important they’ll leave a voicemail, so judging by comments on here, they are unsolicited calls. Will be blocking now.

These people keep calling. I finely answered and they said they are from the Australian electric company. They said that they could get my electric company give me a 47% discount on my electric bill. That they needed my details. I said I would contact my company my self and then they hung up on me. Scammers !!!!!!!!

That they would need my information to do so. I told them I would ring my company then they hung up on me and I have not heard back from them. Scammers!!!!!!!!!!!

Caller: SUMO ENERGY

Called my mobile and mentioned they were from SUMO Energy. Gave all my details straight away and asked me if i pay for Energy. I asked to speak to the manager who was extremely rude and didn't care about my concern and my compliant. Callcentre was overseas and you can get taken off there list if you just say you are on the do no call register.

Even though I’m on the do not call register I still get this number through on my mobile. It looks dodgy on caller id so I never pick up. Have now blocked it completely after checking it out here.

She claimed to be from Simply Energy (although it was hard to clarify due to her asian accent)
I am so over this! This is the 5th unsolicited call in an hour right on dinner time! The do not call register obviously does not work!

I answered with a very annoyed "Hello!" and they said hello, so I said hello again and they hung up. Oh well, from the comments here, I'm not missing anything so I'll go back to eating dinner

rang yesterday x1 and twice today. I tell them I am on do not call register and calling me is breaking the law. The hang up. I assume to be a scam and not who they say they are

Calling me everyday, was a energy company never heard of for electrical bills? Very annoying!!
