They rang 4 times consecutively. I didn’t recognise the number so refused to answer. They left a message. Lots of talking in background and hard to understand. Definitely a scam call.

Caller: They said Telstra

They tried to offer me Telstra discount, wanted my details. They new some of my personal details.
Telstra assured me that they didn't call me & will only offer plans or discounts via email or text.

Claiming to be from Telstra to offer a 40% discount on bills. Wanted private information to send a confirmation text. This is a scam.

Caller: Said from Telstra

Said I didn’t have any accounts with Telstra and they hung up

The other end said they will give me a refund or something and will meet me under my apartment. Sounds scary.

Wanting to provide a 'CD' to do banking search of your accounts. Claim they can provide and find value and money back.
