Answered call and the caller keeps quiet and then puts phone down

Caller: Bruce

No immediate answer; loud background noise of call centre; asked to speak with me by name and announced themselves as someone from some internet company (when I wouldn’t answer their Q about who I was). Wasn’t my current or previous or even a known ISP - don’t answer it reeks of dodginess. (I was waiting on an urgent call hence I was out of character in answering).

Just another scammer that wants to know if you’re telephone number is live. Best not to answer !
