Was able to get through to this number and told them that I would report them if they ever rang me again and that they were a nuisance.

Been getting these calls ever since I got insurance with Budget Direct. Never answer it, and they never leave a message because its an automatic dialler thats ringing.

I phoned back and was told it was a company called Twentyfour Seven - doing a campaign for Insurance Line insurance who 'wasn't trying to sell anything'.

It's amazing so many people been bothered by this number and it's still working, been getting calls from them too! c*nts!!!!

I received a missed call from this number this morning. Since I have applied for a few jobs, I tried to call back and got the message that this number is not connected!!
It's going on my reject list pronto!

Have received repeated calls from this number but have not answered until just now just because I wanted to see who it was & tell them to stop calling me. Hung up as soon as I answered.

I have been getting calls from this number twice a day. They never leave a message & the one time I answered they hung up. Definately won't answer from now on.

They are annoying, they are unsolicited, they would of gotten your number from the one time you entered a competition or completed a form and didn't tick the box wishing not to be contacted.

Their tactic is deliberate, they don't want to speak to you when they call you, they want you to ring them back to "find out" who is calling you and what they want.

Then when you call, you are receptive and listen to what they actually have to say. Wether or not you respond or are converted to a sale by them dose not matter.

The effectiveness of their strategy outweighs that of a "cold call".

If you do ever get to speak to them, as for the person's name, the company they work for, where they got your number from and that you want to be removed from that list. And if you get contacted again, you will report them to Today Tonight or A Current Affair, or even the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman.

Unfortunately the police cannot do anything, they do have more important things to deal with.

If all this fails, get legal advice.

Have been getting calls 3 times a day from this number. Happened last year aswell. The one time I did answer there was silence then they hang up. So fed up with these calls.

I'm overseas and I have been receiving calls every night from this number. Thankfully I have avoided answering as I did not recognise the number. Thanks for the feedback.

Called at 10.30am, did not leave message , I shall now place this number on my phone memory "spam, not to be answered."
Why don't they leave a message? I would have listened to it ! A very poor form of marketing, when will it be seen to be inefficient means of "marketing"?

Same thing as others, however, my phone is on the Do Not Call register and is unlisted. So much for privacy in this country.

I have been getting between 2 and 4 calls from this number everyday for the past 2 weeks. They always hang up when I answer. I am sick of them now so I have added them to my reject list and I would advise others to do the same.

I have been getting calls from this number at least twice a day sometimes four times for the last 2 and a half weeks! I have answered and no one was there and I am getting sick of it!

These calls come from an office in Melbourne. A company called 24/7 which is supposedly a "referral company". They are trying to sell insurance from the company advertising as "Insurance line" on the TV.

Keep calling me, 3-4 times a day. Hang up as soon as I answer.

Tell them to stop ringing my bloody number - ready to report them to the Police !!!!!!

Keep calling me and when I answer they always hang up... I only answer so I can tell them to bugger off . Why do these morons bother?
