CREATE A DO NOT ANSWER CONTACT
If you have a smart phone ...
Set up a contact as "Do Not Answer"
Add all annoying numbers to it.
You can even create a label for each one so you know which annoying group is ringing you.
Some phones give you the option to 'Block this Caller" so you can then block them all.

Not sure how many times I politely tell them to f*ck off - have given up and abused them straight off the bat.

Every day I get the same people ringing for different charities / selling cr#p I don't want nor need - why do I want pet insurance when I have no pets?? Bugger off will you's.........

I called them back as I receive at least 6 calls a day to my mobile from them, they are a marketing firm called 24/7. Advised them I dont want their calls and to remove me from their listing. Now still receive 2 calls a day & keep cancelling the incoming call after 4 weeks you would think they would give up. Its just harassment.

This number also keeps calling me but I can't ignore it as I work in the sales arena. What gives me the sh*ts is that every time they call I pick up and it hangs up. If they ever get through I will tear them a new one.

This number is a telemarketer that wont take NO for an answer. Needs to be reported to ACCC. The main business behind it is contactable on (03) 4309 4032. Everyone needs to call them and do the same back!!!!

I think I've had about 5 calls over the last week from this number. I've never picked up though. Either press ignore or let it ring out on silent. Only just got this number as well. They (telemarketer robots) must just systematically call numbers and hang up if a rep isn't available. Wish I had a block feature on my phone!

Thgis number called- a company called 24/7. They were flogging Virgin Money. Rude young man refered to me as "champ". That turned me off immediately.

They have been calling my mobile for a couple of weeks. Always during business hours (when I do not answer my personal mobile). They have run 3 times already today. I rang the number back from a private number just now, and it just rings engaged. I am on the do not call register - thanks to all who have posted above indicating that it is an insurance company.

A male voice called my mother's phone asking for me at around 12 ish. Unknown to what he wanted and I suspect a sales person or something through the comments here. A one time call apparently.

I answered this call today and was told she was from 24/7. I said 'What is 24/7?' The response was 'we're a company but don't worry we're not trying to sell you something, but have you ever heard of a company called insurance line?' I replied 'no and I'm not interested, thanks goodbye'. How do I get these people to stop calling me? I get a few missed calls from them each day. When I do answer and ask to be taken off the database, they say they will but then they dont. Can I block my number somehow?
