Caller: Vodafone This is actually a Vodafone call centre, however I believe that what they are doing is wrong and counter to any reasonable security expectations, because you have no way of knowing it is Vodafone, and they ask you to provide your PIN number before they will speak with you. And they "you're speaking to Vodafone" text can be easily spoofed. So, the reality is that they are teaching their customers to be hackable - because if I was a scammer, I know to call Vodafone customers and ask for their PIN, and they've been taught to tell me it. Shocking security strategy by Vodafone, and likely puts them at legal risk if customers are scammed in the future using the same technique!

Sounded like a scammer, said he was from Vodafone and that he wanted to let me know about the new plans available and changes to my account. He also requested my PIN number.

Caller: Scammer Person from Vodafone claiming to have a new plan for me and everyone on my data plan. High pitched noise at the beginning- which obviously I knew was an auto message- and then some guy asked for my pin.

Supposedly Vodafone. I answered the phone to silence, then there was a strange sound as if connecting, the caller asked if I was on the line. I had to say hello again. Caller had a thick Indian accent, said they were Vodfone and directly asked for my pin so they could tell me the latest offers. I replied I would look them up online. Caller virtually demanded my pin. I said no thank you I'll look the offers up online. IF this IS Vodafone, they need a better approach.

Got a call from this number just now from a call centre saying it is Vodafone. If it is Vodafone I will never agree to any up selling, plan change etc over the phone. If I want something I will make contact. Stop these rubbish calls.
