I just missed a call from this number but while here they left a message saying they were from Vodafone and provided Vodafone's number. I've never had a scam leave a message before so I believe it's legit. It's normal for Telecom's to request information such as a pin even when they contact you.

If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck and waddles like a duck , phones you "blind" and wants your pin number then as far as I am concerned it is a duck. The lady I phoned at Vodafone suggested that I just block it. Done!!!

It's legit VODAFONE NUMBER cause they know all my phone numbers and bill history. In addtion, try call VODA yourself, PIN is required to verify your identity and that's it, same as Telstra and other Tele provider as well.
It sounds fake because the Indian guy was not trained well on how to speak with customers.
BTW, do not upgrade to what they recommended unless they give you better discount!!!

confirmed legit vodafone number, but wow does this sound like a scam. The poor guy on the other end didn't know what to do when i called him out, then it turned out to be vodafone offering me a cheaper deal. can confirm numbers here http://vodafone.intelliresponse.com/index.jsp?interfaceID=1&ID=-1&requestType=&respId=&source=1&question=Missed+call+from+vodafone&NormalRequest=Ask

If they are so legitimate why ask for your PIN number first off. Shame on you Vodafone if in fact it is.

3 today - these days I have to leave my phone on silent and hope that potential customers leave a message. This pollution is out of hand - must be destroying businesses that rely on incoming calls from leads.

They called pretending to be from Vodafone asking for PIN number and personal details. I think it is a scam.

I received this call many times, telling me they are from vodafone and they need an important update on my account. They also imitate Vodafone saying that for quality purpose this call will be recorded, but that man seems very nervous and obviously had short breath when talking to me. they should not have to be nervous when talking to their customers. I am reckoning where are the government? They are everywhere when they collect tax, and they are nowhere when they are needed by their tax payers.

yeah - dodgy. I was called at about 6:40pm Perth time. Nobody spoke - neither did I. Probably a call centre of some kind, but usually this stuff is dodgy s**t! Vodafone's usual method of communication of is via text anyway.

You are fake news!
Seriously, bro. That url is clearly from the domain of "intelliresponse" not vodafone.
Don't fall for this guy's scam. Millions of dollars are lost to scammers every year in Australia.
