I think it was Vodafone. I called them earlier to cancel a pre-paid SIM. The number and left a voicemail, but it was blank. There was no message at all. Not sure if scam or not.

While I believe this to be legitimate (*), it's a nuisance call from a very motivated salesman trying to sell me on a plan I don't need, w/offer of a tablet I don't need.... (*) I refused to confirm my PIN, but separately got a legitimate TXT from vodafone confirming I would be getting the call.

Caller: (02) 9015 3555 Vodafone This number is safe. It's from Vodafone technical support. I have been waiting for the follow up call after I had a problem with my phone settings. When you call it back, message clearly says it's Vodafone and they will call again, follow by a miss call message. It's not a scam

Caller: Vodafone This is a legitimate call from Vodafone as this time they had sent a message few days before advising that they would be calling from this number. Although when i got the call i was a bit vary and didn't give them any correct information. then I checked the number from the sms i had and it matched. SO the next time they called from another number ending in 3555 which seemed to be from Vodafone and it was same guy from earlier. Just the annoying part was that he asked for all my information which I was not 100% sure to give. SO after around 30 mins on the call i disconnected. Then later just to confirm I called Vodafone Customer service and asked them they had contacted me or not. The lady confirmed that that was indeed a legitimate call as she could see the notes from him. Next day the guy called again and this time I gave all the information and now my plan has been upgraded and all is well :)

Caller: Vodafone Repeated calls from this number and (02) 9015 3804. Call centre wanting to upgrade my network plan. Called back using service number from my phone and asked for password reset and verification of previous calls.
Legitimate call - it's Vodafone up-selling to their existing customers

This number has been calling me everyday for weeks. If it isn't a scam - and I'm treating it as if it was - Vodafone are breaching their code of conduct because it is harassment and unlawful. I've told them I'm not interested every time..

Caller: Vodafone They keep calling and texting all the time to push new phones or plans on me even though I have told them repeatedly that when I'm ready to change or upgrade I will call them, don't call me, but they don't listen. So sick of the constant harassment.

Caller: Claimed to be Vodafone Whatever the person mentioned, checked out. The problem is that the person asked for my pin. Normally they never do, as you are put through an automated verification process. Politely declined and hung up the phone.
It could easily be someone spoofing the phone number. Be aware not to give your pin number to anyone.

Caller: (02) 9015 3555 Received call from this number yesterday and today. I knew they are schemers, did not answer. If they legit, they would leave the message with company name and phone number. I always check on line and block the number after. I am sure it's not a Vodafone customer service, because they always follow up with rating of the service. Also their phone calls to customers are always monitored and they have to resolve your issue or try to resolve it to get good rating. When you get a phone call from schemers, you answer and no one is there to talk to you, it's because they have most likely 20-30 phone calls running simultaneously to see if they can scam someone and they can't speak to all at the same time. these calls are coming most probably from India, even code is showing Sydney.

Caller: Vodafone This is legitimately Vodafone’s customer care number. I received a call about my new mobile phone plan and the caller never asked for my bank details or any money. Very helpful. NOT A SCAM NUMBER! Just because the caller sounds foreign does NOT mean it is a scam!

When I answered got background noise only, so hung up. They rang back immediately when I was talking to a customer. I had to hang up 3 times in a row before they stopped.

Caller: (02) 9015 3555 Tried to call me three times. Each time, being an area code which is not relevant to anyone I know or want to call me, I hung up within microseconds. Persistent scammer. Do not engage. If it's anyone important, surely they know your mobile number and can call on that!
