This is a legit number. We had connection issues and so my wife contacted Vodaphone to fix. They returned our call on this number and helped us sort out our connection issues. It's a legit number. Not a scam.

It’s legitimate. Ignored the first few calls as was out of my state. Checked the number and decided to answer the next call. I called Vodafone to change my plan maybe two weeks ago. Same Indian caller phoned back just checking I was satisfied with the plan and insurance. Standard policy imo. He never asked for my details etc. Legit. 👍 Still, annoying.

Called Vodafone on 1555 this morning to end a month to month service.

There’s obviously some issues as I seemed to get through to the call centre by getting my PIN wrong, only stating my name first name when asked to state my full name at certain points.

Dropped into a Vodafone store to check it at World Square and was asked by the store person what my PIN was, even prompted him that I should enter it but he asked again, which I gave him whilst someone looked on

Be mindful people, you shouldn’t give your PIN to anyone

It is Vodafone, I phoned them 1555 (Australia) Vodafone, after hours, voice machine said, ring back tomorrow.
I then phoned 1555, stating a different enquiry, saying, Customer service, & I can't recharge. I was then patched through to the Vodafone Indian call centre. Absolutely perfect and my problem was sorted. An hour later I had a call from the number, Vodafone Australia in which no doubt the Indian Vodafone company has access to, as they should have of course, to help all World wide Vodafone customers out with 24/7. Yes we are on different time zones, Its a Huge Company, especially overseas.

received two telephone calls, after I answered and said hello, a female voice said hello then the call was disconnected twice. Tried to call back number but message that service is not available for call back

had a call from someone pretending to be from Vodafone asking to confirm my address details - beware and report this

Called yesterday to ask why net was down, got call back then regarding issue.
Called me from this number twice today, didn’t answer either call today as they were no help at time of issue or on the call back given yesterday.
No need to be contacting me.
I’m also on prepaid and don’t have a plan to be upgraded or extended.

It is definitely a legitimate Vodafone number and customer service representative. I know because I called the 1555 Vodafone customer service number and was speaking to this gentleman and we were organising my new phone to be delivered - but the call dropped out and he immediately called me back on this number. It was the same guy. He was very courteous and helpful, so I feel bad that he has so many negative comments here.
OUTCOME: NOT A SCAM

Couldn't understand what the caller was saying and told them so as well as saying I was hanging up. They then sent a text which asked me to call yet another number about our NBN. Not impressed as I had already dealt with the NBN box failing in store. I consider this a nuisance number.

This isnt a scam just Vodfone not being the best, called me I missed the call, sent me an email and quoted a reference number from previous dealing with Vodfone that I was waiting on.

I left a call back on the phone when i called as the wait time was oo lomg.

They called back on this number, asked for no personal details and had my issue logged already from my previous conversation.

This number is not a scam as I phoned Vodafone to complain about receiving marketing ads on my mobile. I was in line but did not want to wait in que so clicked to get call back on my landline which they called back and this was there number. They also have called in the past with different plans. They do have different phone numbers when they call. There are a lot of scammers who claim to be from Vodafone so never give out your credit card details or your pin number if you have not called Vodafone on there site and logged in.

I received a call from this number a few days ago as i had reported an issue with vodafone.

It was a legitimate call, they did disclose that they were not going to request any information from myself, only that they were informing me of when the network outages will be fixed in my area so my internet can speed back up and if i wanted to change my plan they could transfer me to the sales team.

Called to offer 20% off for 3 months...sent pin via the legit vodaphone number. Please check your email, we had an email from vodaphone confirming an order for 2 iPhones with $188 plan each being shipped to another part of Australia which we had not ordered. Contacted Vodaphone and they have asked us to complete a fraud application

Indian male calling about my Vodafone plan. Needed my PIN number for verification of who I was... um... no? Then said he'd send me a text to verify who he was and that the call was recorded. I said if he was offering me a deal, they have my email address on their account and could send that through, otherwise, not interested. Seemed dodgy.
