I don't know why you're all complaining about TPG, they're cheap, speeds are good & they're helpful and responsive.
I logged a complaint by email on a weeknight & they responded within 2 hours, then followed up with a phone call next day when I asked for further assistance.
Never had any issue with excess charges. Try going with an Unlimited plan if you're likely to hit your max data download, it's not their fault you use more data than you paid for (and every telecoms company has hefty "excess data" charge, it's nothing new)

TPG are great, they are excellent value, they answer calls and they get things done when you need them to. Biggest problems I've had with them is always related to Telstra stuffing up the copper lines.

Look! I too am happy with TPG. they are cost effective and helpful! Most of the time they are very efficient! I have my broadband, home line and all my family members mobile service with this company. No other carrier could match the deals and service.

What a bunch of irritating monotone monkeys.at tpg, I could program a robot to give better customer service (and with manners). This should be a lesson to all Australian companies to NOT use asian call centres. On a positive note, I called Internode to churn my service over to them, after a brief wait on hold I was assisted by a very pleasant (and English speaking) young lady who was based in Adelaide, a very polite and helpful young lady, set me up with ADSL2 in under 10 Mins. A very nice refreshing change after MANY painful & NEGATIVE experiences with TPG over the last 8 years.

TPG. This organisation is an absolute scam. For 9 months TPG took their payments from me despite not providing any service at all. When I called them to ask why I couldn't connect to the internet they then said that it would cost me a $99 re-connection fee. When I told them to shove it, and to cancel my account they had the audacity to then charge a cancellation fee! (contact expired ages ago) When I checked my bank account - 3 weeks after telling them to cancel my account - I found that they had taken a further $29.99. They explained this by telling me that my account was still active. Thieves. It's funny to see the people, obviously from their organisation, planting claims of good service here. What a joke!

BRILLIANT company - Excellent & responsive Customer Service - better than Aussie call centres !!!! Been customer for 6 years on the very odd occasion I've had an issue or when I have upgraded my modems and needed tech support they have been nothing but PROFESSIONAL and MOST, MOST HELPFUL. Totally recommend them - friends with other companies always seem impressed by speeds we receive in the 'darkest' outer suburbs of Melbourne.

TPG trying to make amends - their service worst in Australia You need to go to the UK for worse service and that'll come out of a third world call centre too

Clearly you haven't tied Telstrra. They are the absolute pits. TPG is much much better.

I transferred to TPG from another provider but I feel regret to say that this company is by all means worse. The internet is slow like snail as soon as they said they completed the installation. I called them and the lady put me on hold several times and finally found nothing. She wanted me to leave my contact number and she would call back at 10 am the next day but she didn't. bull sh*t.

I just received 15 automated dialled calls within 5 minutes from this number to my mobile and my home number. I kept declining the call, but within a second or so another call would come through. I eventually had to turn my phone off for 1/2 an hour. Turn it back on now, and they are still calling me but only once every 5 minutes now.

After an initial NBN inquiry about 3 months ago, prior to the NBN being installed and activated at my residence, these people (Filipino speaking TPG staff) have called me EVERY day to sign up. i have informed them I am not interested because I am with Optus, but they do not seem to get it.

this is TPG, I received 9 calls from this number over about 5 minutes after visiting their website and looking into transferring my mobile to them, I rejected the first 8 times and they called back immediately, answered on the 9th, told them not to call me again.
Definitely not switching to them now.

TPG call centre rang to confirm whether I have received the modem as they have done their remote installation.
Even I haven't turn on my modem yet, but I have put on my landline this morning and it works.
They said to plug in the modem to make sure that it is working so that they can tick off from their records.
