I receive a call from this number (02) 9005 1200 at least 3 times a week at the same time. If i dont answer the call, it goes to voice mail with sometimes an advert message left, or nothing with wierd sounds on the other end that is not a voice message.
i have tried to ring this number and it gives me only an engaged signal. It is like an unsolicited number that calls my mobile, and its really annoying me! How do I stop this

I receive a call nearly every day from this number, whenever i answer it, it sounds like i am calling out.  Some messages have been left on my message bank but i can't understand it.  Does anyone know what to do with it and how to stop it?  It is driving me crazy.  I'm worried its one of those numbers that i will get charged for.

this is the last straw i have decided im going to go to india steal a nuke and blow every last one of them to hell and maybe that will stop the phone calls

Yip they have my number too. I just got a call n the person at the other end hung up. Got another one yesterday but missed it. Maybe they have a quota system and all they have to do to get their money is to hang up once the call is answered? Sounds like all these companies are outsourcing their telemarketing and then getting scammed. The company making calls can then send commonwealth etc a large bill showing hundreds of calls when they just hung up on most of them! Seems like they hang up more times than they stay on the line! I'd say commonwealth banks(and others) marketing departments would be interested in knowing this. I have been receiving these calls for the past 3 days, but I rarely pick up calls from numbers I don't recognise. The persistence of these calls was disturbing me (I thought it might have been a new work number or something), but thanks to you guys I can stop worrying about it. Now I just wish that they would stop calling. They woke me up today, and I'm a shift worker so it is annoying as hell. Anyone found out a way to stop these calls?

I'm also getting these calls. This thread goes back to last year, I'm suprised this is still happening.

I tend to get the calls between 4 - 5 WST. I find if I pick up it either disconnects or starts ringing like I am calling them.
