I didn't answer as I was having lunch. They hung up when the answering machine clicked in. Thanks to all who've posted - I'll know not to answer if they call again.

I’ve had my business number for so long now I get several phone calls a day from people trying to part me with my cash, I got the business number so I knew all incoming calls where strictly business, I have to stop what I’m doing to answer the phone to jokers like this who keep ringing

Yes had this number call today, in Sydney. Luckily for us they hung up as we have a Telstra Peer Guardian telephone that asks the name of the person calling. They hang up when they get the automated message asking for their name.

Have stopped answering these calls. Apparently, according to reports on this site, this time it was Meals on Wheels. If I want to donate I'll give my time.

It's illegal to cold call so I don't know how they haven't been fined yet.

Yep Meals on Wheels charity...told the guy couldnt afford it as hubby had lost his job...no lie..he was ok and I hung up.

Yes another call from this number, luckily I didn't answer the only problem is I am a very busy person and I can sometimes be waiting for an imposter any phone call.
How can I leave phone calls I Case they are important but more and more I keep getting marketing calls very soon I'll get rid of my phone then they won't be able to call!!
