We have received calls on two consecutive days from this number. As older citizens we are quite distressed by this intrusion by someone who silently refuses to identify themselves. We have registered with the do-not-call site but still they come. Perhaps the police could trace the number and prosecute the line holder?

Well, this morning, 10/5/2010, yet another call came in from this number and this time, surprise, surprise, someone was there. It was someone called Amanda from some organisation called Seniors Plus and apparently it is a survey company. I declined to do it, as you would expect, so I have no idea about the contents. I suggest everyone being harrassed by these calls from this number refuse  to participate also, then we might all get rid of the nuisance.

What I do not understand is how a telephone number from within Australia can blatantly ignore the do-not-call database. Why is the appropriate authority not following up on this and closing the company down, or at least muting it? Can we sue, perhaps?
