Getting called from (02) 8988 7183 and (02) 8988 5269, simply call, I answer then a few moments later, they hang up. Twice this has happened now.

I recieved a call from this number today. Is it a prank?

(02) 8988 7183(02) 8988 5084call quite often, same sorty just silence.Can't the telcos block these numbers or something?Don't call any more you pricks..

I got call from (02) 8988 7183 yesterday 2009-06-25 1.11 pm to my mobile.
He claimed himself as David or something and said that he is calling from HSBC visa card.

He asked for my name.
He started to tell me about insurance for credit balance or something that I really cannot understand.
So I said I don't say yest or no about something that I do not know or understand over the telephone and send me a written paper.
Then he said "OK, I leave it to you".
I reported to HSBC but their customer service is really not good. I was expecting them to call me back on Monday  about the inquiry I made last Friday so I first thought it was that, But totally different. And of course HSBC did not call back.

PS - I also would never trust the comments of an unnamed CEO on this type of website - they are obviously related to the whole number scam and want your details any way they can get them. Google search Blueprint Management Company and you'll see their contact details are very different from below (and probably have no idea this is even happening - or are also involved somehow - who knows these days).
