Caller: Not sure but related to apple Received a call asking if i ordered a mac book air. I answered no and she said you should cancel your card and named the bank. I was suss and unsure if it was a scam. Looked on bank app and nothing there. 15 mins later i checked bank app again cause i was paranoid and there was a charge for $1990 for a tech store in Paris. Thankfully there was also an equivalent refund so that lady was legit, she cancelled the order. She did not ask me for any card details

Caller: Apple This is a legitimate call from Apple. I ordered an Apple Mac and they called me within approx. 10 minutes just to ensure that it definitely was me who placed the order as it's a high value order. They called me by name and didn't ask for any additional information, just wanted to confirm I genuinely placed the order. Clearly this is something they're doing now as there are so many scams with Apple products, and they want to make sure all orders are legit before processing.

Caller: Apple Online Store Legitimate call. It was a call from the Apple Online store, confirming an order I placed last night. They just asked if I placed an order, naming the product, and asked if I am the cardholders, if it was a credit or debit card, and which bank but I did not have to provide them card details. They also provided my address and asked me to confirm. Within a couple of minutes of the call ending, my payment had been processed.

Caller: (02) 8987 7222 Called to check if the online purchase is real, as the amount was large. And they really did make a transaction on the card. These are very well prepared polished fraudsters. When you call this number back it sounds like Apple IVR and they even transfer you the calls from a department to the other.

Caller: Apple I had 3 calls from this number but didn’t initially answer as I assumed it was telemarketers but on googling I found this page with most saying it was Apple. I’d just placed a large online order with them so called them back. It was definitely Apple/legit

Caller: some nice lady rang from this number and wanted to confirm details in relation to a recent order for an iphone. We have not ordered anything nor via our company nor privately. Could not tell me which company this was related to either. Hung up before she could ask me more details - when I rang this number back it was "real" Apple support.
