Just got 2 calls from this number - first left a message of some beautiful 80's on-hold music.  The second was a message from an Indian call centre on behalf of Tru Energy asking to call them back on a 13 number (133466).I think i've had a couple of other missed calls from this number before, but this is the first time a message has been left! If you are a Tru Energy customer, this could be your answer.

I've received 24 calls from (02) 8987 5333 in the last 24 hrs. No idea how they suddenly got my number or what they're after. They haven't left a single voicemail so it can't be too important.

I have just had these shenanigans start today, google lead me here. I have since spoken with with Tru Energy who are aware of this scam to the point where the staff have had meetings in regards to it. I have lodged a formal complaint to them and will also be lodging one with the Telecommunications Ombudsmen, I also suggest others do the same.

I feel that Tru Energy should take an interest in their customers information security and they should be proactive by making us aware of the scam formally. Pick up your game Tru Energy.

Got a few months of peace and quiet and they have started calling my number again looking for my boyfriend - told them I have no idea who he is and to please stop calling - will see what happens!
Tru Energy have told us that they have nothing about us on their system so god knows where there information is coming from???

Well like others I'm really glad I googled this number.  Yesterday I started getting calls from this number.  I didn't answer it and waited for a voicemail which they never leave!  Funnily enough I'm also a Tru Energy Customer and yes times are tough and I have a payment arrangement in place which has been confirmed by email so there is no need for anyone to ring me. I won't be answering any calls from this number.
