Yep, Woolworths Money (now run by Macquarie Financial Services). I have emailed them reminding them that under the Criminal Code it is an offence to harass a person by phone - up to 3 years imprisonment.

had this number call throughout the afternoon. And tonight when i finally answered (7pm) the man claimed to be from Woolworths everyday money and was asking to verify my details for a bank account held in my name. I told him that if he rang me then he has my details already and i shouldn't have to give anything to him. I asked what the call was about and he repeated several times that for security purposes he couldn't tell me until i confirmed my details. Eventually he said 'you can call us back on the number on the back of your card if you wish but then you'll have to pay for the call'. I continued to ask what the call was about and he continued to repeat the "security blab". After a short while of the repeated conversation he hung up on me. I then called the above said bank and they said there was no record on my account as to why anyone should be contacting me... especially at that time of night. The customer service representative took the number down and noted the conversation.

It is Macquarie. Jetstar credit cards as well. Will ring 100s of times. Send me an email instead you a......holes

Jeststar Card Services (Macquarie Bank) asks for personal details. I tell them that they need to provide me with information so I know who they are. They tell me they don't do that. I say either do I.

This is indeed Macqaurie who also service woolworths credit cards as well as Jetstar credit cards. I used to work there and have their card, they cannot speak to you without identifying you. If you feel uncomfortable you can call them back on 1300 150 300 or ask for a PEGA reference number. They would only be calling if you're over the limit or haven't paid your bill........

It'll be one of your credit card providers chasing up a late payment or over limit. Lets all be honest here....we know its a credit provider and those who act dumb about it are just that.

I have had 2 calls from this number this morning at 2 hour intervals. I have a woolies card, but have only today just received my first statement, so can't be overdue! plus another number called from the same area (02) 8035 6997, which I am assuming is them also!

Had two missed calls. Earlier today had two missed calls from (02) 9078 2400. Assume both callers are ringing about my Jetstar card - I paid it yesterday but it was about four days overdue. I guess it's true the comments against the other phone number that it takes Macquarie/Jetstar three days to process account payments and they will phone you in the meantime ...

Called during my working hours where I am unable to take calls during the day due to security. Caller didn't leave a message for that reason must be a scammer!

Calls my business up to 5 times a day, asking to speak to a particular employee. I asked their company name and what the call is regarding so I can pass on a message and they can stop calling. It is Woolworths Money, however they didn't say what it is regarding. I've told them to stop calling, which they have ignored.

I called back number (02) 8986 8389 just kept on ringing no one answered the call and never got any voice mail.

The Number (02) 8019 7489 I have as Macquarie Card Services. The (02) 8986 8389 I have received and when answered, deathly silence, waited about 20 seconds then i hung up. So at this stage not sure who that one is

Phone calls happen on a Saturday most of the time; I believe they are calls from Woolworths Money Credit Card, making calls reminding that payment overdue on credit card. I have a Woolworths card. Numbers include (02) 8986 8389, (02) 8019 7489.

Had a call from this number on Saturday at 9.45am and was told it was a call from Woolworth Money. I was advised that the call would be recorded and next they wanted to verify who I am. I refused saying that for one, they called me and two, could they verify who they were. I asked for verification as to who was calling me, which I did not receive. I then said that if the matter was important that I would like to see something in writing and I will respond. Today I have received another three calls from this number, which I didn't answer. The call went through to message bank but the caller hung up without leaving a message.

Getting calls on my mobile and landline. Does not leave a message on answering machine and if I answer the call there is no response. Have been calling for last 2 days from several different 02 numbers. Strangely enough my call log says they called about the same time last month. I think all these numbers are connected
