2-3 times a day for the last week!! allphones need to fix this sh*t!

This is so annoying....all hours of the night and day, I have put them into my phonebook as blank and send their calls to number that has been disconnected...fingers crossed this works, also was thinking of diverting them to their own number.  Hopefully they might get the message. I wonder if you diverted it to a Emergency number like police ?But I would check first if I can do that,  just a suggestion. If it still happens I am ringing the police to see if I can do anything bout this.....hope someone can help and stop these annoying callers.

ah that was quick just got called again , got to abuse the s**t out off them Im happy now, and yer its all phones

Annoying, they call i answer but the hang up, i ring back and get a voice message saying "All Phones Australia please leave your Name Phone# and Account details"
I'm with Vodafone, they said you can register your number on the 'Do Not Call Registar' also they said if i get called 3 times within 24hrs they will block the number from calling me.

A solution:I've had all of the above experience. It doesn't make any sense to me why this would be happen. I could be completely wrong, but I can only put it down to fishing for active numbers for the purpose of creating a database for spamming. I do tend to receive some SMS spam that I haven't signed up for.Anyway, the SOLUTION (as inconvenient as it is)...is to report them to your carrier and have the numer blocked. With Optus (my carrier) I was required to report 5 different occurences. I'm not sure if I'm being paranoid, but the number would tend to call 3 or 4 times in a week and then not call again for a while. In the end I just reported them and made up some times. They mustn't check too thoroughly because the problem went away. I also had the same problem with 8666 0623. I think it's best not to answer the calls by the way.In the case of SMS spam reply with a nasty SMS such as "Unless you've had your head up a##e for the past decade, and given that you're partaking in Guerilla marketing, you should be well aware of the penalties for breaching the privacy act. You're currently put on notice, pending an investigation into how you obtained my mobile number. Have a nice day." At the very least this should stop the contact.

Same as everyone else, starts off with 1 missed call works it's way to about 5 a dayThanks for the help I'll be calling all phones and sorting this out also be complaining and never shopping through them again next time go straight to the phone company I want to buy off...

Have been recieving calls from this number (02) 8986 3000 they ring for about 3 rings than hang up, I have not answered any of these calls as I dont know the number.  Can we block this number in anyway.
Please any suggestions would be great.
