This is so annoying....all hours of the night and day, I have put them into my phonebook as blank and send their calls to number that has been disconnected...fingers crossed this works, also was thinking of diverting them to their own number. Hopefully they might get the message. I wonder if you diverted it to a Emergency number like police ?But I would check first if I can do that, just a suggestion. If it still happens I am ringing the police to see if I can do anything bout this.....hope someone can help and stop these annoying callers.

This time they did identify themselves more clearly as coming from AllPhones. I told them I am not interested and not to call me again.

I have a Samsung phone a purchased from a Telstra store. I have given the number to a very small number of people. If it is a marketing company, I would love to know how they got the number.

I've been getting calls from this number for the last week now, there is nobody on the line just some sort of computerised service, when i call it there is no answer, it's become very annoying and i'd like it to stop!!!!!!

Yeap, I've been getting calls from this same number, too. Obviously I'm a little slow on the uptake or was left behind when it became the inthing to do.
But, yeap, got one the other week while I was at work. Now I'm getting them at least once a day. Same thing -- I have no intentions of ringing back. But it's got to the point where I'm glad my phones on silent when I sleep.
I too, am with Optus. Will be changing networks come September, but don't really want my number changed... but looks like I may have to :(
