I've had several calls from the same number but have never been able to get through when I've called back. Very annoying!

Calls received morning, afternoon and evening. I have been ignorning them after receiving multiple calls from other 02 8 numbers. Someone mentioned to me that some of those companies that sell data lists have 'diallers' that simply dial numbers to see when people answer the phone which is then recorded against that number so that telemarketers can call back when its most likely to be answered. Anyone know if that is correct or urban myth?

(02) 8985 2289 this number called me and when i tried to call it back its always engaged.. who is this mystery person?

Getting calls from this number often. This number is very close to another number that bothers people from so called charities like ones that pester you on the street etc., The number 2evolve uses is (02) 8985 2240 and this is only changed at the end. The dialing beep beep probably means it's just a nuicance call.

I'm getting calls at apprx 1200 every 2-3 days. I don't answer it because I'm at work. Try to call back & the line is CONSTANTLY engaged. If you continually ignore the calls how long before they stop calling. This has been going on for nearly a month!
