Same thing happened to me. I managed to actually pick up the call today, and it was Amnesty International thanking me for signing thir butterfly petition... so yeah, glad I know who it was now.

(02) 8985 2240 - same thing happened. Tried to call back and it's instantly disconnected. Weird.

they just called me, i called back and got an anwsering machine which said "you have reached 'toevolve' (or something it is not clear) unfortunately (yadda yad yada) looking forward to talking to you. Another call was just random noise.C***S

Ongoing daily calls from this number to my mobile phone.  No messages left.

This bloody number has called me about 20 times in the past 2months. 1st few times i picked up but got nothing. Called back nothing. Now I ignore buts its a pain.Piss off!

i'm also on the 'do not call'  register ...so why receive these calls
same thing...call no. back no reply...got a terrible feeling in my stomach
that it wasn't Amnesty International...said I will receive an update in the mail...I hope to see it!!  Anyhow...glad to know others found out it is
Amnesty...(or an agency ...'2evole' or something?)

 Even called my bank to cancel my card...& they cannot place a stop payment
 on a 'direct debit'... what's that sort of service...??   What happened to
customer safety??????
