The Number when you get to know them want to install Teamviewer on your computer, and have you write a check and put it in the letter box, then ring back to see if you have done it. They tell you something is wrong with your computer and only charge $350 for the privilege. They use the broken record technique and had my Mum in a panic for over an hour. When she tried to call me they manager to place a tone of my voice so she could hear me. I immediately went to Her house and used some computer speak and the call went dead. Ladies and Gentleman the SCAM is from JC Enterprises, the alternate number is (02) 8006 9015, The address for JC Ent is Po Box 3797, Nth Mackay, QLD 4740, Did you just notice like me that the area code is 02 and the Postbox should be a 07 number. JC Enterprises are located at Level 15, 5/14 Martin Place, Sydney, 2001. SCAM ALERT SCAM ALERT, the email they use is sales @ linktoassist.com. My mother is now in a serious condition following the call that has left her extremely distressed. Assclowns.

I had numerous calls from them telling me I could upgrade my phone plan early, I told them I'd rather do it Instore and she said that was possible it was a phone only offer, so I hung up, went to Optus and they knew nothing about it. DODGY

SCAM ALERT. These guys, JC Enterprises are scammers praying on people, especially older who do not understand what they are being told they should do and then pay exorbitant money with no real tangible service. And they bill you in Indian Rupees, based in Martin Place with a billing address in Mackay. Please share with people, this is not a legitimate service. Known on other number (02) 8016 9015. People like names of Annie and Marie Anderson. Don't speak with them. Hang up, get them to take you off their database (if you can).

Two years later and this SCAMMER still hasn't been stopped - I hope everyone writing about them is also reporting them to Police. My 95 year old uncle has just been another victim - and for everyone's information, the price now seems to be $500. I am so angry that somebody exists in this world who preys on innocent people.

i have paid $600 to jc enterprising and had a call today saying i had to pay a further 350 to register my computer. I refused. later I rang them and told them I thought they were a scam. they told me they would call back and cut off.do you need any more proof? and good bye to$600 that is the folly of being a 78 yr old on a small pension I guess.

Multiple missed calls from this number, one after another - with no message left. It would fit that it is Optus (like everyone here has said) given I am in the middle of cancelling my (non-delivered) internet service with them due to delays, lack of communication and generally extremely poor service.

I just answered this call from this number after having multiple missed calls over the last week (both in and outside of office hours). It seemed dodgy to me - hence why I'm here now. It was an Indian lady claiming to be from Optus, wanting to talk about my current phone plan. She asked me to confirm my date of birth for 'security purposes', at which point I asked what they actually wanted to talk about. She gave me some vague answer about looking at my account usage to help optimise my plan. After some back and forth trying to get more information (which yielded continually vague answers), she said I could quote my current billing amount to them to validate my identity, to which I said I'm happy with my plan and don't wish to change anything. Her tone changed, sounding slightly annoyed and terminated the call with "Ok, have a nice day".
The whole call didn't sit right with me. I'd suggest avoiding these calls. There's no way to ascertain that they're actually from Optus and the information you give forward to validate your identity to could be compromised. If it's actually a number used by Optus for official purposes - pick up your game. You're not looking good.
If you actually want to look into optimising your plan, visit an Optus store.
