How do you get them to stop calling?!

Hangs up everytime I pick up.

3 calls in two days from this number... obviously still trying whatever it is that they're trying.

I had a call this morning from "Optus" (02) 8956 0469. They had my name, address & asked to confirm my DOB. I smelt a rat & said I was a little busy, perhaps I could call them back?...they hung up!!

I just got phoned from this number. Was very strange. I gave Optus a phone call and gave them the number. They said it was a Optus sales team. But she did say it was a strange number!

I am applying for jobs, and they probably stole my resume.

Damn seek.com, also I purchased something from kogan/online store, maybe they shared to 3rd party my details.

I've received 2 calls in the last two days from this number and did not recognise the number so did not pick up and let it ring through.

I had a call from this number this morning. I answered and introduced my name formally but they hung up straight away. Sucks to be them since the phone is registered in my mums name they can't get any right info from me =]

They try and call me on the daily! I don't answer! Think I might try f*ck with them next time! Give them fake details so they get caught

Claims to be from Optus. Calls every few months. Ignored calls, but they don't seem to stop until I answer and tell that I've forwarded the number on to the authorities. Usually hang up about then. Accents are normally Indian.

Surely someone like OPTUS can stop these calls? They are a scam and a nuisance. The technology exists to trace the call and have it shut down and the operator fined.

I got the call twice so far, told them I am going to report them to the Feds, they hung up on me. They can't charge you money as I had zero dollars on my phone, so I don't know what they expected to get from me. Also the chick who spoke to me was American.

They have been calling me twice a day, and I haven't been bothered picking it up. Such a waste of time...

Recived 2 missed calls from this number in the space of 2 hours. Seems nothing is getting done about these scam artists. Best adviuce is just to reject the number everytime it rings. they will get the msg you are not interested and get the number blocked.

I got a call from this number today, now have it on Auto Reject on my phone, each time they now ring my number they get an engaged signal.

i keep getting calls from these losers but i don`t answer , What`s Optus doing if they say they are from there?
