Its Optus, foreign telemarketers.

I am nearly 80 years old and keep getting these calls after 10.00 pm at night. I am not well, i go to bed early and have recently been in hospital. These calls are affecting my health. Could they please stop calling me. Thankyou, Edna.

Yup I just got a miss call today, see what it was. It seems like an optus promotion call, coz I am with optus as well.

Be warned that if they get nowhere ringing you from (02) 8956 0269, they'll start trying you from another number...give out no personal details. I've read on other forums that this is a scam originating in the Philippines.

Just received this missed call, when I try to call back a few times, silent! Silent!! Very anoying!

They ring me all the time on my mobile (had a call 5 minutes ago) and I never answer, same as my home phone. I decided to ring back and it's an automated message saying "It was Optus and they are just checking in to see if we are happy with our service" Mobile is with Virgin and home phone is with Dodo

I just received a phone call from this number. I'm about to start school and don't need this sh*t from some bored dude without a job. I'm with virgin btw and is there a way to report this number to police or something?

I do get call from this number. As soon as i answer it hangs up.

this number is so Anoying. It even calls me at 8am on Saturday. Never call back and block the number

I have received calls from this number claiming to be from Optus. Whilst we have an Optus landline, the caller telephoned my mobile which is with another carrier. It is a new phone and new number. How did the caller get my number? And why telephone it when the phone they called is not a Optus phone?

Same deal - i'm with optus and i have had multipal missed calls from this number.

They just called me from this number and stated my full name to me, however when I asked what this call was about they just hung up. So I called Optus and they said this number is not registered with them that even their sales center uses private numbers. Optus told me if they call again to not give out any personal details and request them to voice their customer service number and reference.

Called but I didn't pick up. Checked it out here and realised it's another one of those calls. Am also with Optus Prepaid.

Yes, a number of calls from this number but no message left (so I assume spam) I am an optus pre-paid customer (who doesn't wish to be bothered with marketing schemes)

I just got a call from this number and did not answer but what i don't get is that i'm registered on the do not call list, not happy
