I contacted Assistance Dogs and the number is nothing to do with them.
Looks like scammers.
I recall something on Facebook asking to sign a petition to protect dogs overseas
I think that could be the way they get your details

signed a petition to support government funding and they ring me looking for money ! I support the idea of assistance dogs, but using a petition as a way to gather phone number and then pester people for money - that's pretty low. Number blocked.
