Charity caller who wants money from you just before Christmas. As usual they use guilt as their main tool! 😡

Caller: Some company on behalf of a charity

Don't bother answering, second call ive received in two days, ive blocked both numbers now

Damn nuisance calls at meal times daily

Sick to death of these individuals, groups, associations, organisations, who are being permitted by the Australian government to consistently hound the Australian public with nuisance, scam, spam and unsolicited calls. Australians are losing millions of dollars every year to these low life scammers, this has to stop.
Its about time Australian government were held to account and be responsible to put a stop on this continual invasion into our homes from nuisance and more often than not illegal scams. Enough is enough.
I can only block 15 numbers at any one time, we get far more than 15 scammers calling every day.....
Enough is enough.

Answered call about 4 weeks ago...Care Flight selling Teddy Bears. Told them not interested, then today another call !!!!

This is Care Flight that called; all legitimate, they are selling the bears and I have received mine; Henry the Pilot Bear :) it is for a good cause.

This number called me & trucaller, alerted me it’s a scam, so I didn’t answer!
Do not call register, clearly means nothing!

They call my number at least once a week. I don't answer it. It comes up on my screen. I am on the DO NOT CALL register, but like with so many others on this page / forum, it isn't working.

Caller: Telemarketers

Two months later and they are back calling me again. So much for asking them to never call me back. Please note - this isn't the charity calling - it is a telemarketing group calling on behalf of the charity. They are making money from the donations. If you donate to them, you are wasting your money - only about 10% of it makes it to the charity.

Did you know that charities are exempt from the Do Not Call Register?

Didn't get the name and when I asked them to repeat it they just went into the rehearsed sales pitch to donate money. It was at this point I hung up and blocked number.

I have never called 000 so that is a con to begin with
