Caller: Charity spam

I even blocked the number, yet they still ring daily and don't leave a message

This number called and I had troubling hearing them and had to ask twice what they were saying. They asked if this was the number for a name - said the first and surname. I said no wrong number. And they apologised and hung up. Reading these other comments I can see it is one of those annoying call centres who take 50c in every dollar you donate. If you want to donate do it directly to the charity - not through the dial-for-dollars nuisances.

Why these people don't get a proper job, if I want to donate will do directly.
Called three times in the space of two hours.

Called my mobile which only a few friends and family have as it is an unlisted number. I rejected the call and blocked the number. Having read the comments, yes I have donated directly to both RFDS and Deaf Society directly in the past and will continue to do so. I do not need any third party agency calling me.

Answered a call from (02) 8917 0011 but they then hung up without saying anything. Who knows who they are? I did not bother to call them back.

These calls are persistent everyday. Yes I stupidly entered a FB competition for Careflight bear, not expecting to be called everyday to donate money I don't have.

Also if you answer a call (applies more to those that try random number combos) they mark it on their system as being a genuine number and keep trying.

This number is for careflight only Work on behalf of Care flight all 100% of your dontions go directly to careflight all personal details are sent next day to Careflight all information is unpacked a day before donation starts as i called Careflight as you can do on (02) 9843 5100 as I had them confirmed this number is unity 4 once they talk they do contact you again or you can ask to have your number taking off there calling list.

Calls me 5 times a day doesn't answer when I first speak been told it's a voice recording scam .

Extremely annoying, calls every day a couple of times.

They said they will cancel my TFN, coincidence or not I put my phone in a competition to win the fire safe bear (something like that)

They left a message saying something about cancelling my Tax file number! oh goshhh

Calling 2x everyday in the past 2 weeks. Never left any message. Legit caller will leave a message. Very annoying.

Entered a comp on FB to win a Care Fllight Bear. Said one incorecct, when in fact it's not so I would hate to be in the position regarding the question and answers

I spoke with them directly... They use volunteers to call for donations, NOT paid staff... If you call them back they are happy to remove your details from their call list. If you can help them, then do (although in these days of Covid-19 and rampant unemployment...it is understandable). That said, they are probably air lifting Covid-19 patients ... who knows? Anyway... Care flight using volunteers to call!
