Careflight has been running a First Aid Quiz on Facebook, where participants go into a draw to win a first aid kit - and also leave their contact details so that they can be contacted by Careflight fundraisers.

Caller: Careflight K I completed the quiz and hit submit, then read the message that I would be contacted regarding a donation. From past experience, once you donate, charities never leave you alone. My smartphone was smart this time. It classed the call as spam and automatically filtered it for me. Charities these days always seek regular donations rather than "one-off's".

I took the quiz too and realised they may ring me. There was a message at the time that donating was optional but it might be worth listening to their services etc. I just didn't answer when I got the call as it was while I was at work.

Had a missed call from this number. Based on the other responses there is no reason for Careflight or RSPCA to contact me as I've not had any interactions with them before so they shouldn't have my contact details.

Caller: Careflight Claimed to be from Careflight. I was asking the caller a lot of questions and got the impression I was not talking to a human but a robot. Suspicious.
