Scammers sometimes pretend to be conducting a survey in order to get your personal information. They may then call you a few weeks later to try to scam you, using the information you provided in the initial "survey" call. Beware!!!

Research organisations need to rethink how they gather data. If a caller's number isn't in my phone's contacts register it gets blocked automatically. My phone's for my convenience, not their's.

"Engine" conducting market research for Tourism Research Australia (Government body). Just questions about any travel you have done recently and a few demographic questions. Not a scam. Look up the survey (NATIONAL VISITOR SURVEY). You can request to be added to their do-not-call register and Engine won't call you again.
