Caller: (02) 8904 2000 NOT TELSTRA. Have received about 10 calls from this number in 2 weeks, each time asking if I'm a different person (we're calling about a fault, is this John, is this Margaret etc.) Rang actual Telstra who advised they would only call from 1800 numbers, not 02 numbers, and that it's definitely not them.

Call received - no message left but it came within minutes of a call from (02) 8005 1164 purporting to be the tax office and I was threatened with legal action for an unknown reason. Number was not the tax office. This one is obviously a scam too.

Confident that it is Telstra. I put in a service request earlier and then received a missed call from this number just minutes after.

Very much doubt it's Telstra. I also put in a report shortly before getting a call from this number, but, if it was genuine, I'm sure the caller would have left a message.

Caller: Telstra Confident this one is Telstra as I called them on my landline to report a landline fault. He needed to check the lines so I had to hang up the landline, so called me back immediately on my mobile on this number. It was the same person I had spoke to.

Caller: 89042000 Says Telstra: i do not think it is. I get scham calls weekly from several numbers, block or do not answer them. I think the scammers can make money from each call for some type of trading purposes, or get rich scheme. 1. No reported issue by me to Telstra. 2. The caller leading the recepient to say yes. 3. Telstra script not complex like this was.
