The number is for Casual.Direct, from NSW DET. You can't call them back at that number; you have to ring them at their 1300 number.

Yes, I am the same... I wish a basic e mail would be sent as a follow up to let people know the identify of the caller even if that is a business name. Its so un fair as these calls come in at early hours of the morning. Out of the un expected time frame and or date. One person said that is casual employment department of NSW state education. Well then (if ) this is a government department then PLEASE adjust your system and leave a text message to follow so US the hopeful relief staff can at least follow up and try to return the call.

Had missed call from same number today at 8:47am and not able to call back - got a noise which sounded like a fax line. Someone mentioned it might be Randstad? Might it be Casual.Direct (DET NSW)?

The number above is indeed Casual.Direct for NSW DET. But no, you can't ring them back at that number. You have to ring them at their 1300 number.

I received a call from this number, however whenever I attaempt to call back - it says "Calls to this area are temporarily congested" - Who and why?

This number called me at 6.28am this morning. I missed the call, and tried calling back but it did not work.

The number is indeed casual direct they call you either from 6-9am or 3.30-7pm and you need to call their 1300 number or email them if you want to contact them. You need to be a qualified teacher or a provisional teacher, they are probably calling you because you are on their calling system to fill in for a teacher that is sick.

Sas

I recived a call from them also, but have no idea who it was. Can't call it back either.
