Harassment. Have not yet answered any of their 2-3 calls per day at inappropriate times. I hear on good authority that a very good option for dealing with calls like these is to first remain calm and polite. Let the caller introduce themselves and before they get into their spiel, firmly interrupt and ask them to repeat their name and where they are calling from. Take charge of the call. Ask them how they obtained your number. Tell them politely but firmly that you have their name and that you're requesting that they never contact you again. That if they do, you will report them. Be sure to remain calm and polite the whole time, or they will most likely hang up and you will get nowhere. I will be doing this the next time they call. I will then be contacting my phone company and asking for their policy on consumer privacy and the 'selling' of personal information to outside or affiliated companies. Best of luck everybody.

Get constant calls from this number. Good thing I have caller ID! I never answer calls I do not recognise, but they are persistent. Thanks to this site, I have been able to confirm what I already suspected.....bloody useless telemarketers! I too am on the "Do Not Call" register, but doesn't seem to stop them....grrrrr!

I have been getting calls from this number 2 or 3 times daily for the last two months. I have caller I.D. on my phone so because it is not a number I recognise, I have not yet answered these calls. Lucky for me, but give them their due, they are annoyingly persistent.

I get calls from this number very regularly like most other posters. I have asked politely once to never be contacted again, I have also saved this number in my mobile under DO NOT ANSWER - TELEMARKETER, once this pops up on my screen I simply ignore the call. Great way of not confusing it for a number that may be important when it flashes up on caller ID!

The business is actually Hollard Financial Services and they subcontract lists from insurance companies trying to get people to join. They are very rude and forceful.

Have recieved 2 missed calls per day for this number for the past 3 weeks. Answered once about a month ago and asked them to call back later. Bad idea. If you answer ask to be taken off their list. Telemarketers for sure.

Someone from Medibank Private trying to sell you life insurance.
They say that you have an existing policy and then try forcefully to sell you life insurance in a very deceiving way. Be very careful about confirming or giving them any information as they will lead you down the garden path.
They say they are offering a quote, but then verbally get you into a legal contract in which you then have 30 days to opt-out.
Found it very difficult to get any direct or accurate information from.
Sales person is Alex and his supervisor is Patrick. This guy has already missed called me twice in the past month before this.
