I get them all the time and I ask the questions how bad was I hurt. Then they hang up. Stop calling me.

Can anybody explain what information these callers are expecting and we should not disclose?

Just received call advising of a car accident I have had ...I don't drive. Comes from an Indian call centre via Australian phone (02) 8882 9710.
They call every couple of weeks. When I ask for the name of the person they want to talk to ...they hang up.

Hung up when i answered.

I live in the UK and have just had this number call me! Joker!!

Called me informing me I'd had a car accident. I said that I hadn't. They proceeded to hang up on me. Right on dinner time.

Clearly using an automatic dialler. They don't listen when I answer with my company name, long delay before "hello? hello?" with call-centre background noises. Boiler-room time wasters.

Blew a whistle in their ear. Do it every time they call. Yep calls stop. Funny that😝

Four of these "Claims Advice Service" calls in the past 2 weeks. Always an Anglo-Saxon name with a sub-continent accent.
Same deal as above... telling me I have had a car accident in the past 2 years.
NOT ME. I just wonder what the scam entails... gathering my information?

I also received a call and have caller I'd. I called the number but got an Optus recording stating the number was disconnected!!!!.
