Someone picked up my returned call for this number (02) 8880 5889 but hung up on me

Spoof callers using this number (02) 8880 5689 - they go silent once you pick up and then hung up. If you try to return/call-back with no-caller ID, it doesn't go through - and it returns *"Your call couldn't be connected - please check the number and try again"*

Called about clearing debt. I would say it's a Scam as I called back afterwards and the lady only answered with a "hello?" instead of starting with the business name.
