He was a funny guy, fake USA accent of Indian extraction who paused when repeating his own phone number - and hesitated when saying who he worked for all on a recorded message. He would have been more convincing had he said, "This is my Father speaking".

Another Indian bloke saying I will have a warrant out for arrest, in regards to ato. Was very insistent and scary. Did not mention money. Was told to get a lawyer

Same recorded message left on my phone a few times claiming that is about tax avoidance and should call back that number. Why can't the police arrest these people and charge them?

I have had 8 messages left on my answering machine 7 male & 1 female all saying they are getting out warrants against me unless I contact them. I have rung the ATO and they have taken the number to Federal Police. ATO say that they would contact us by mail - never phone. I hope these annoying pricks get what's coming to them.

These idiots have called every few hours for the past 2 days and left recorder messages posing as ATO. More annoying than convincing and don't know why authorities don't do anything to stop these morons! What good does it do to list your number on the do not call register if these wankers still call you ten times a day!

2 calls re owing an out standing taxation payment....legal action will be taken, and that I had to call back ...the name given was Zheng Anderson...we don't owe any money so contacted our accountant....and put this on here for others to read.....bloody annoying

Reported to be from the tax office . Suggested legal action was pending.

"Tax Department" advising me I was to be charged over tax avoidance.
Told me to ring back on the above number.
It was a recorded message, I was unable to speak back to him.
I am on the do not call register.
Why can't the government close these liars down.
Why do we in fact pay taxes and support the do not call register.
I wonder how many gullible people they suck in to pay them.

Person said he was from the ATO chasing up debt. I asked him to prove it or call my accountant. He hung up.
