Caller: Mark Beswick from PH Group

This guy said he was Mark Beswick from PH Group and asked to speak to a partner who hasn't worked in the office for years. He has called twice this week asking for the same person.

Caller: PH Group

British accent, male, name might have been Mark?
Asked to speak with the owners by name (no one gets to the owners unless I fully vet the caller and think it really is a call for them) told him not available, he said he would try on their mobile and email, asked me to put him on hold, I asked for what reason, he wanted to hear what our hold music was like, I asked what company he was from he said PH Group, I asked what they do and he said they do hold music, I told him our hold music is fine, he said he would call one of the owners mobile about it and that he spoke to me in the office.
Not sure if a scam trying to get mobile and email details out of me.
I called the number back on a different phone and someone answers PH Group.
Just very sus phone call.

Caller: Daniel from PH Group

Spilled a whole heap of names of the people at my place of employment regarding an apparent meeting. Don't bother with furthering their message.

Tax arrest warrant scam

Caller: (02) 8880 0370

Called twice and left message on voice mail on second call. I don't answer calls I don't know. Searched number on Google. Found out it's a scam. Thanks guys. Should be reported.

Message asked me to call back. Sounded suss so i snooped this thread .... doesn't look good....

Called once and then hung up. called again and asked to speak to owner. said they were friends and they would know who it was. asked for details and he said he was from PH Group. scam

This Mark Beswick said he was from PH Group and asked to speak to a partner who hadn't worked in the office for many years.

Caller: Jared Vecchio from PH Group

Asked to speak to our Directors using their first name. Sounded suspicious so I looked the number up and found this thread. SCAM ALERT!!

SCAM ALERT
Called and asked to speak to Director and when we called back, he got upset when we asked what the call was about and he was very rude. DO NOT TAKE A CALL FROM THIS GUY>

Josh from PH Group - has done so a few times. Is a UK based company and they give a vague link with a local firm we might know, all bullsh*t

Spoke to me and I asked them to call back in a month. When they did, they called the office who asked to take a message. He hung up on my Team Member and then called my mobile. People that treat people like that deserve to be exposed on something like this site. Will never deal with this company.

Polite chap...little suspect at first due to it being a call out of nowhere... but my MD knew him from a meeting last year in our office.

Asked to speak with Managing Partner re a different law firm and wanting to meet next time he is down from Sydney.
